Bàcco
Carignano
Our Carignano, from the area of the Sardinia Region best suited for this variety, introduced by the Phoenicians around the 9th century BC, it then spread in Roman times to the south-west of the island.
The fragrance and flavour of the wine reflect those of its land of origin, characterised by Mediterranean shrubs, bushes of myrtle and strawberry tree fruit intermingle with lentisk and helichrysum.
A dimension that sits between Earth and sky, rendering space undefined and leading the gaze towards the horizon.
BACCO – The god of winemaking

Intense ruby red in colour.
An enveloping and complex fragrance that opens with redcurrant and berries in spirit, accompanied by an elegant waft of Mediterranean shrubs and sweet spice.

Bàcco 2022. Precise and decidedly clear and bright, it alternates notes of plums, wild violets, blackberries, currants and pressed blueberries. Medium body, soft tannins well polished and a balanced finish of great fluidity. Drink now.

Wine ingredients
Carignano
Carignano is a variety of red grape that is native to Sardinia.
Its resistance to the winds from the sea allows it to be principally cultivated in sandy soils.
A perfect balance of climate, terrain and this elegant variety has led to the creation of an intense ruby coloured wine that leans towards shades of garnet, with a warm and enveloping fragrance.
It is aristocratic and balanced on the palate, with soft tannins of rare excellence.
