ÈSTRU Siddùra - Sardegna in purezza

Èstru

Carignano

Siddùra’s new Carignano means “inspiration”

The grapes are from the south-eastern area of the Sardinia Region, the ideal habitat for this variety, close to the sea.

The beneficial marine breeze, and the warm and dusty climate, guarantee mature and healthy grapes that are harvested between the first and the second ten days of September.

A wine that is refined for just a few months in the cellar, after which it is bottled to ensure its freshness and its fruity notes.

NOMEN EST OMEN:

Wine ingredients

Carignano

Carignano is a variety of red grape that is native to Sardinia.

Its resistance to the winds from the sea allows it to be principally cultivated in sandy soils.

A perfect balance of climate, terrain and this elegant variety has led to the creation of an intense ruby coloured wine that leans towards shades of garnet, with a warm and enveloping fragrance.

It is aristocratic and balanced on the palate, with soft tannins of rare excellence.

From a great winery, a wine from a grand native Sardinian grape, Carignano, although in this case not cultivated in the Sulcis area, where it undoubtedly reaches its peak. It is refined exclusively in steel, and the result is natural and fruity. It is full-bodied and of medium structure, with red and black forest fruits, and plum.
