International varieties
Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, two iconic varieties, represent the essence and the diversity of the universe of wine. Originating from differing wine regions, they are both appreciated for their unique characteristics.
Sangiovese, with its nots of cherry and blackberry, embodies the tradition and the passion of Italian wine making.
Cabernet Sauvignon, on the contrary, is a global variety, with a complex aromatic profile and a potent structure that is celebrated the world over.
I have never enjoyed a Sardinian wine of such complex aroma and flavour! A strong, clear ruby red. The fragrance has fruity notes of blackberry, liquorice and pepper, with a finale of cherry. It is extremely balanced in the mouth, where the elegant, mature and well-amalgamated tannins conduct the orchestra of taste. The concert comes to an end with a long-lasting flavour and fragrance. Wow!
