Èstru, meaning " inspiration " in Sardinian. King of southwest Sardinia, where its grapes overlook the sea, amidst gentle breezes, poor soils, and a warm climate. Harvested between the first and second ten days of September and bottled after a brief aging period, it is direct, sincere, and immediate. A Carignano best enjoyed young, it expresses the terroir without mediation.
